Health and Safety Training

We are committed to providing relevant training for all employees because we genuinely care for the safety and wellbeing of all people in the business.

Induction

All new employees must be properly inducted according to our Induction Process.

New employees must also receive specific job training to enable them to carry out their duties safely.

Ongoing Training

All employees must be adequately trained in our health and safety procedures, including those concerned with:

  • First Aid
  • Evacuation
  • Risk Identification & Control
  • Accident/Incident Management
  • Workplace Inspections
  • Engagement of Contractors
  • A sufficient number of employees should also be holders of a recognised First Aid certificate.
  • Training must include knowledge of any hazards within the workplace that employees may be exposed to, or they may in fact create themselves, during their normal work.
  • Employees should also be trained in the safe use of any plant, equipment or substances used in the premises and, where required, provided with appropriate personal protective equipment and clothing.

Training Records

All H&S training must be recorded on the H&S Training Register.  This is a useful tool for showing at a glance the competency level of your employees.
